There might be a misunderstanding regarding C++ and Verse in UE6. From what I read, it's that Verse replaces the scripting layer currently provided by Blueprints. The core engine will still be C++ like before, that's not being replaced by Verse. That's what I took from it at least.
Indeed I did state above that C++ isn't going anywhere, it's still part of the engine, but I think making Verse the dominant tool versus a visual scripting system like Blueprints is detrimental to game development as a whole.
